At Edgewood we perform a number of anesthetic procedures on a daily basis from routine dental cleanings, spays, and neuters to growth removals, exploratory and orthopedic surgery. Our exceptional surgical team ensures your pet has a safe and comfortable procedure and recovery. Pre-anesthetic blood profiles are performed to assess the safety of anesthetics and surgery for your pet. Additionally anesthetic procedures include an IV catheter, intravenous fluids (as needed), and blood pressure monitoring. Your pet will be closely monitored until he or she is fully awake and alert. Pain medication will be administered as needed to ensure your pet’s comfort. Doctors and office staff will follow up with you and your pet throughout the healing process after your pet's procedure.
